Evonne! Thank you so much for thinking this up and asking me to bring in my perspective! It was so fun to work on a newsletter with you 💕
Can I just say, I’ve had a leopard bag on my mind but I never would have thought to pair it with polka dots until I saw your outfit flat lay at the end. Genius!!!
1,000 times over, I would do it again and again if you are up for it. So easy to come together and loved seeing your unique perspective shine through here. Get that leopard bag and pair it with dots immediately!
This was truly spectacular. I’m so honored to be featured (MOM - I THINK I MADE IT!) - but I am also ironically in the market for a new couch lol! My son does WWE moves on my couch and the springs are literally popping out.
This was such an awesome two for one! Also, I love the fact that Emily went back to school at FIT to learn more… I truly believe learning never stops even as an adult! & Evonne- I’m obsesseddd with that outfit flat lay!! The pairing with the leopard bag literally has me drooling!
Traci, thank you!! I would love to be a spectator to watch your son do WWE moves on the couch before you part ways with it. I'm dying.
You styled your polka dot skirt so well and easy. Definitely worth referencing back to when you need a moment of inspiration. So glad you enjoyed our creative minds together.
Thank you, Libby! The good news is there are so many fun pillows and throws and rugs on the market - it’s an easy lift to bring some pattern and color into a space!
I am loving this crossover. Very fun to read some insight on design in the home. I love when you discuss patterns because it makes me remember I need to continue to add them to my wardrobe.
Truly obsessed, also just savored Emily Grady Dodge’s post, and have been working on interior updates at home so all of this is super top of mind, same page. I love it!!!
Joyce! I’m so appreciate this comment, thank you. Emily and I thoroughly enjoyed working on this together and so happy to hear it resonated . I’d love to see your interior updates, I’m sure they are nothing short of fabulous.
You are my absolute favorite, and your purchase of your leopard couch is forever instilled in my mind. Love it! Thank you so much for your kind words. We really appreciate it.
A match made in heaven, both interiors + fashion and evonne + emily! And I think I might love a fun couch as much as I love a fun pant, which is a lot.
Elin, even though I have never been to your house, I can fully imagine the MELIMELI sofa in it and you sitting on it, draped in dots. Thank you for your kind words!
What a DELIGHT to have you both in my inbox in this way!! Love the mixing of interiors and fashion — always so fun to see that intersection brought to life!
truly obsessed with every bit of this post. so make takeaways, love the ideas behind a small, medium, large print in a room, playing with proportions, different sized dots. thanks to both of you!!
Oh! That’s how you use prints in the home! 🏠 I don’t really wear any prints - my Indyx closet was an eye opener in that regard - but I do want that liveliness in my home. Between these suggestions, I might be ready to expand beyond the world of brightly hued solids in the near future. And I do love that couch! Great piece, gals!!
Hi Danielle!! I definitely recommend starting with some patterned throw pillows and (my favorite trick) wrapping a thin blanket around your sofa seat cushions. Etsy sells great ones!
Thank you so much, Danielle. Polka dots are really one of the easiest prints to dip your toe into when it comes to your wardrobe because of the wide variety of scales. A micro dot might be your new best friend because it reads as more solid than it does printed. I am all about you embracing this in your wardrobe and your home. Let's do it, Danielle!
I love a polka dot! I call it a non pattern pattern! It goes with so many other patterns from stripes to leopard! Loved this pairing so much, you two!!
It really is a non patter pattern! Thank you for joining in on the fun collab. Emily and I had a blast writing it. Perhaps the three of us can now team up?!?
My interior design North Star is Pierce and Ward who do an incredible job mixing color, patterns, prints and still manage to make rooms like balanced!! The big/medium/small pattern concept really hit home in that way! Honestly, Emily’s mind for interiors is second-to-none so I loved the post!!
I just googled Pierce and Ward; I've never heard of this dynamic duo. OMG. Kelly, thank you for introducing me to this powerhouse team. So appreciate you reading along and commenting, thanks, Kelly!
Evonne! Thank you so much for thinking this up and asking me to bring in my perspective! It was so fun to work on a newsletter with you 💕

🤣 it’s definitely pretty funny and highly uncoordinated. Bravo, gals!!!
I love a 2 for 1 always, I love a polka dot, and I love learning more about how to properly do interiors. Great post!
Thank you, Libby! So glad you enjoyed our 2 for 1. Emily really is the best of the best when it comes to interiors.

YES. SAME.
Kassandra, thank you! Prints look so good on you, and a polka dot looks even better!
Ahh such a great post, thanks to both of you! Dream team 🙌🏻
Thank you so much, Ariane!!
🥰🥰🥰🥰 thank you, Ariane!
Truly obsessed, also just savored Emily Grady Dodge’s post, and have been working on interior updates at home so all of this is super top of mind, same page. I love it!!!
It was so fun to daydream about this sofa and team up with Evonne to bring this to life! Glad you enjoyed!
Joyce! I’m so appreciate this comment, thank you. Emily and I thoroughly enjoyed working on this together and so happy to hear it resonated . I’d love to see your interior updates, I’m sure they are nothing short of fabulous.
I legit ordered my leopard couch without telling my husband, and asked forgiveness later. He was convinced eventually!!
Loved this crossover of interiors and merchandising. Thank you both!!
Ooooooooooo I’m obsessed with that. Obsessed. I want to see it!

I LOVE these tips!! Thank you. Off to Etsy….

I never considered this! I think I can expand beyond the world of stripes….
Oh I am loving polka dots just as much as stripes! I really loved seeing the two of you collab--such creative stylish minds!
Thank you, Kate! Always appreciate your comments and thoughtful words. So glad you loved this collab, we had a great time writing it together.

Such a perfect collab! It was so fun seeing the interiors and outfits version of this.
And who doesn't love some decorating advice?
Thank you so much, Sigrid! Decorating advice from Emily is top-notch. So glad you agree.

Do yourself a favor and watch Lily Aldridge AD tour to see their work!!
I just watched! ZOMG. Her kitchen has the same floor tile I have in my bathroom. I never thought to utilize it in a kitchen. MY MIND IS BLOWN.
RIGHT?! I still think about that video all the time…
SAME, I love them! They have a stellar collection at West Elm right now if you haven’t seen it. Def recommend checking it out!!
Oh I’ve seen it. I’ve drooled over it.
