Loveee a matching set, the 60s are my favorite for being so mod! And agree, what we're seeing in 2025 is caught between 70s softness/today's boho revival and 80s power suiting/today's corpcore - was very much thinking this of Reformation's sleeveless vest/pant sets.

I agree with you on the 1960s, the sets today are so playful and fun. I want all of them, but my wallet does not align 😂

I love a matching set!! I did a whole letter on it last year. Love how you broke it down by era here- so many fun insights! Xx

Thanks, Sogole. How many is too many sets to add to cart this season? I’m afraid, I might be wearing one for everyday of the week because they all are just too good not to buy!

Just went to read your matching sets newsletter and it’s fantastic. Loved all of the sets you featured and styling hacks.

I love a historical deep dive! Fashion history is my fave :) I took my first history of fashion class in college in the drama department (which began my foray into costume design!) - a whole other world but lots of connection to fashion! Big fan of that Gap matching set, I have the blue/pink stripe you showed, and love it!
