I love a glimpse inside someone’s closet (I loved Coveteur back in the day and give me a home tour anytime), so this was fabulous! You can really get to know someone through their most treasured items, and I loved reading about yours!

I had huge hopes when they signed Jenna Lyons, and her dynamic style sidekick Sarah Clary, in February 2024 but it fell apart before we even got to see a full-fledged return. But we might just be in for some greatness as a media group acquired it in May and signed Faith Xue as EIC. I am ready to see the closets open ...
Wait, there was a Jenna Lyons reboot?! I totally missed that. It sounds like it barely blinked before disappearing. Here’s hoping the new crew gives Coveteur the glow-up it actually deserves.
I have also been doing a lot of thinking on the non-trend trends of it all, particularly for summer when it will be over before it even started, so finding the pieces that will still reign true 4 summers from
now.

Something you wrote about the blazer really struck me; “I’ve never looked at another blazer since.” Isn’t that what is about?! I want to find a piece that basically makes all its counterparts disappear. I want denim so good that I stop my perpetual shopping for other pairs, etc.

You make the best case for shopping your closet and rewearing your favorites over and over again. It was so fun to see what your closet MVPs are :) Your YSL blazer is incredible - you're going to wear that for a lifetime (and thank you for the blazer shoutout!). My forever pieces are jewelry - I love Catbird and always wear their gold necklaces and permanent bracelets, along with Aurelie Bidermann's wheat ring and a heart pendant from The Last Line.
