A Summer Style Guide For People Easing Back Into Their Daily Serving Size
Last week, I flew to Las Vegas for a licensing conference where grown adults spoke passionately about Hot Wheels, Bluey, Barbie, and Mickey Mouse for three days straight. By the time I resurfaced from the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino on Wednesday evening, I realized I hadn’t seen daylight once.
It was a marathon of conference rooms, slot machine lighting, showcases, oversized iced coffees, and meals completely detached from nutritional value. I came home craving sleep, hydration, and a plate consisting entirely of greens.
Detox Market
Summer knows exactly how to sell this fantasy of farm food. It’s one long advertisement for freshness: Farmers’ markets overflowing onto sidewalks, restaurant menus competing over who can char a cauliflower more convincingly, your local smoothie place pushing green juice the color of lawn clippings.
Last summer, fruit had a very strong PR team, so I wrote about lemons, cherries, and watermelons. This summer, I’m giving vegetables the attention nutritionists have been asking for. Necessary, restorative, and increasingly fashionable. Join me in consuming the freshest ingredients across the internet as I get my daily three servings in, one outfit at a time.

We all indulge every summer between travel, dinners out, poolside drinks, and airport snacks, barely qualifying as meals. The return to hydration and greens is inevitable, but personally, I see no issue with easing back into things through tomato tote bags, radish sweaters, and lettuce colored accessories before fully committing to your required daily intake as the week begins.

Evonne, I am obsessed with this! I somehow want (need?) something from every look! lol The radish tee! The cabbage trousers! But ultimately I think I am the mushroom bag gal lol
Each look was better than the last!! That tomato tee, the green lettuce bag!!
